There are so many interesting and important life lessons are reflected in these films. Regardless of one's relationship status, these films show how important the process is of breaking up with someone or something, and knowing when to let go.

2. Any John Cusack Rom-Com from the 1980s to the early 2000s (Say Anything, Grosse Pointe Blank, Better Off Dead, High Fidelity, etc.)

5. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)

 I didn't really speak much on Mr & Mrs Smith and By the Sea. These are two different styles of film- one is an action-packed blockbuster, the other is a dramatic French New Wave style art film. Both depict what seems like the dissolution of a marriage, but with endings you might not expect.
